How does the Oversized Essential fit?

The Essential is cut as a true oversized, drop-shoulder silhouette. Because of this relaxed cut, we recommend ordering one size smaller than your usual size to achieve the intended look. If you prefer an extra-relaxed drape, stay with your normal size.

If you are between sizes, size down for a cleaner, more tailored oversized look, or stay true to size for a fuller drape. Our full measurements are listed in the size guide on every product page.

Where can I find exact measurements?

Each product page includes a size guide with flat chest and length measurements in centimetres for XS through L. Measurements are taken of the flat garment.

We offer two options at checkout: Paxi collection at R60 (7–9 business days) to your nearest PEP/Paxi point, and Door-to-Door courier at R100 (2–4 business days) delivered to your address.

We accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of delivery on unworn, unwashed items with original tags attached. Items must be in their original condition.

How do I exchange for a different size or colour?

Email care@umlilowenkosi.co.za with your order reference and the size or colour you'd like instead. We'll guide you through the exchange and reserve your new item where stock allows.

Return shipping for change-of-mind returns and exchanges is for the customer's account. If an item is faulty or incorrect, we cover all return costs.

The Essential is made from 300gsm heavyweight 100% combed cotton — a dense, structured fabric with a luxurious hand-feel and drape that holds its shape over time.

How should I care for my garment?

Machine wash cold (30°C) inside out with like colours, do not tumble dry, line dry in shade, and warm iron inside out if needed. Avoid bleach and dry cleaning to preserve the finish.
